Video: Swizz Beatz "Candy Green"


Swizz Beatz and up-and-coming director Tom Gatsoulis teamed up with clothing retailer The Gap for their "Sound of Color" campaign. This involved five bands that were commissioned to write five songs based on five different colors. Five directors then shot music videos of each song/color. Swizz and Gatsoulis took on the color Green, creating the track and video for "Candy Green."
"I didn't want to do a song I wasn't comfortable giving to the DJs," Swizz tells Billboard. "I took the approach of, 'How would I use green in a painting without making green the main ingredient, and use it in the slickest way?'".
